The one-piece base and box-way construction provides a low center of gravity thanks to our patented Optimized Mechanical Structure Design (OMSD). Anti-flex, shock-absorbing certified Meehanite is heat-treated, annealed twice and ground to eliminate stress, thermal growth and vibration. All sliding surfaces are hand scraped, oil dimpled and coated with Turcite-B for maintenance free, long-life and slick-stick free operation. As with all machines provided by Kent CNC, the KLR Horizontal Turning Centers are inspected and certified by Kent Industrial USA in Tustin, CA.
